For all the support of the Community that has kept track of my situation. My name is Anna Matthews and on Nov. 16, 2004, my grandson was taken out of our home by the CPS due to lies that someone told and it never got investigated before hand.

Since then my grandson has been in foster care. We have missed all of his first holidays with him and then he underwent surgery around Christmas without our ever knowing he was sick until the baby was home from the hospital.

We have been kept better informed on his health care and do get to visit with him weekly.

On May 12, 2005, we went back to court so that the Baby could be returned back home to us, only for certain people to keep the lies going.

I have done a complete turn around on myself and my life. I no longer live my life for my past and all the things that I did or has happened to me is just that, my past.

As for the men in my life. I have no man in my life. I have stayed single for 2 years because I don’t want to keep repeating the same on finding a man. As for me writing to inmates, yeah I write to 1 man, he and I have been corresponding for 4 years. There is no harm in writing letters to some one that is locked-up. We have been pen-pals for 4 years, now I see no harm in that.

I have laid my past to rest and no longer live my past, for today my life is way better and I enjoy my life today.

I have been clean and away from drugs for 6 months and there is no desire to even go back to my old ways.

If I can walk away and bury my past and stop living for the past and go forth and live for the Lord and rejoice why can’t everyone else put my past away.

All I want is for my grandson to be returned home here where his family can give him love from us, raise and protect him from harm and raise him in God’s way right along with me.

I appreciate all the support I have gained from everyone and may God bless each and all.

We go back to court July 15, 2005 and I pray daily and nightly to the Lord above that my grandson will get to be returned home that day to his family.

Once again thank you for your prayers and support and keep me in your prayers until this nightmare is over and my grandson is back in my arms.
