The United States Achievement Academy announced today that Justin Weeks from Dodd City, Texas has been named an All-American Scholar.

The USAA has established the All-American Scholar Award Program to offer deserved recognition to superior students who excel in the academic disciplines. The All-American Scholars must earn a 3.3, or higher, grade point average. Only scholars selected by a school instructor, counselor, or other qualified sponsor are accepted. These scholars are also eligible for other awards given by the USAA.

Dr. Jerry Christopher and RaDonna Christopher, of Bonham, would like to announce the graduation of their daughter, Kaylan Christopher, from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminar in Fort Worth on May 06, 2005. Kaylan received her Master of Arts in Communication.

She is a 1998 graduate of Bonham High School and a 2002 graduate of Ouachita Baptist University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications.

Kaylan currently resides in Frisco, Texas and is the Senior Writer & Editor for PowerPoint Ministries in Plano. She is also a freelance writer and editor for other organizations such as Plano People Newspaper, Insight for Living, Dunham & Company, the Southern Baptist of Texas Convention’s TEXAN News Journal, Crossroads Magazine, StarPointe Magazine, and LifeQwest Mission Organization.

The recent graduate will soon begin doctoral studies at Regent University in Virginia to pursue a PhD in Communications.
