Franklin Ashley Ray Franklin Ashley Ray passed away from this life Wednesday, Oct. 25 at WNJ Regional Hospital in Sherman. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Ector United Methodist Church. Burial followed in Carson Cemetery north of Ector. DEANNA RAE COLLARD One of God’s special children was born to Willard Eldon Collard and Marie Dodd Collard in Paris, Texas on January 15, 1946 at St. Joseph Hospital. She was a Granddaughter of Charley & Jessie Scott Collard and John & Sarah Hollis Dodd all of Windom, Texas. Deanna passed away Monday, October 23, 2006 at Paris Regional Hospital-South in Paris, Texas. She is survived by her Mother, Marie Dodd Collard, of Honey Grove, Uncle, Don Collard of Alvin, Texas, Several cousins and a host of friends. Life won’t seem the same without Deanna, her charming ways, that hearty laugh and the love and respect she had for others will long be remembered by all who knew and loved her. She was an “Angel Unaware And In God’s Care” just as her Memorial Stone reads. Services are scheduled for 2:00P.M. Thursday October 26, 2006 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Chapel in Honey Grove with the Rev. Bill Brown officiating. Pallbearers will be Matt Bryant, Tyler Bryant, Mark McDaniel, Lynn Jones, Blake Farrar, & Ellis Thompson. Burial will follow at the Dodd City Cemetery near Dodd City, Texas. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday October 25, 2006 from 7 to 8P.M. Richard Charles Richardson Bonham - Funeral services for Richard Charles Richardson, age 66 of Bonham will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at Cooper-Sorrells Chapel in Bonham. Officiating will be Rev. Kenny Richardson interment will follow in Willow Wild Cemetery in Bonham. Mr. Richardson passed away Saturday, October 21, 2006 at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman. He was born on September 24, 1940 in Bonham, Texas the son of the late Richard Clarence and Mable McAlester Richardson. Mr. Richardson was a scheduler for Otis Engineering. He is survived by his Son - “Eddie” Charles Richardson & wife Sandyanamirey Dumitru of Garland, TX.. Daughter - Lisa Cox & husband Kenneth of Carrollton, TX.. Son - David McKay & wife Cynthia of Houston, TX.. Sister - Ellen Dodson of Bonham. 9 Grandchildren and 1-Great Grandchild. Pallbearers will be Gabriel Buju, Adam Alcaraz, Christopher Muiruri, Tony Richardson and Bill Richardson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Daniel Richardson and Nikolaus Richardson. passed away on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006 at her home in Bells. A memorial
service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, 2006, at Clarks Funeral
Home in Tishamingo, Okla. Burial will follow at Ravia, Okla. George Craton
LEONARD — Funeral services for George Craton, 73, of
Leonard, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 30, 2006, in the First
United Methodist Church. The Rev. Willie Johnson and Charles Wrenn will
officiate. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Ryan
Cemetery in Ryan, Okla. Arrangements are under the direction of Taylor
Funeral Home. Mr. Craton died Friday, Oct. 27, 2006, in Red River
Regional Hospital in Bonham. J.W. ‘Dub’ Cunningham BONHAM — J.W.
“Dub” Cunningham went to be with his Heavenly Father Tuesday morning,
October 24, 2006. Born to Will and Mary Cunningham, he grew up in
McKinney where he met and married Allie Crutcher. After moving to Bonham
in 1942, he worked for the Fannin County Electric Co-op for 38 years,
the last 22 years as manager, serving on the State Board of the Texas
Electric Co-op and the Texas Job Safety and Training Commission. Dub
spent many hours working with 4-H and Future Farmers of America, plus
various community clubs. Becoming a founding member of the Golden K
Kiwanis in 1988, he served as President for many years. He spent
numerous hours supporting the Golden K and SNAP Center. His dedication
and hard work throughout the Fannin County Area contributed to him being
named Fannin County Senior Citizen of the year in 1998. He was a member
of First United Methodist Church in Bonham. Joel W. Pinion
BELLS — Memorial services for Joel W. Piinion, 64, will
be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel in Bells/
Savoy. Mr. Pinion died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006, at his residence north
of Bells Surviving are his wife Helen Pinion of Bells; sons, Mike Pinion
of Tulsa, Okla., Tom Jeffrey of Bells, Jay Jeffrey of Holdenville,
Texas, Dub Jeffrey and Rob Jeffrey, both of Bells; daughter, Felicia
Baca of Holdenville, Okla.; brothers, Carl Pinion and Butch Cofer, both
of Holdenville, Larry Cofer of Seminole, Okla.; 20 grandchildren and
five great-grandchildren.
