The Family Life Center’s KOOL Lunch Program is
coming back again for it’s 7th summer! The FREE summer sack
lunch program for children Head Start through 6th grade will
run from May 31st until August 5th. All children
that wish to receive a sack lunch through the KOOL Lunch Program must be
registered with the Family Life Center. Registration forms will be sent
through the school system during the middle of May. Call the Family Life

Cans for Critters
We are asking the community to save their aluminum cans to help raise
funds to allow the Critter Corner facility to help as many Pets in Need as
possible. Please drop off your bags of Aluminum cans any time at 200
Winkler ...Just look for the County Trash donated container for the

The Ladonia Chamber of Commerce will have the
annual 20 miles of sales on June 4, 2005. Remember this date. Needing
sellers and buyers. This event will be in Bugtussel, Ladonia, Pecan Gap
and Ben Franklin. Mark the calendar for this date. You might find a
treasure or something that your have been looking for, for a long time.

Benefit Sale
The friends and family of Steve Oakley are having a
benefit sale for Steve and his family since he was hurt in a major car
wreck on December 30th. They are surviving on a 1 member
income. If anyone is interested in donating to the sale or to the account

Ten Star All Star Basketball Camp
Final Applications are now being evaluated for The Ten
Star All Star Summer Basketball Camp. The Camp is by invitation only. Boys
and girls ages 10-19 are eligible to apply. Past participants include

Antown Jamison. Players from 50 state and 17 Foreign Countries attended

at Valley Creek Studio near Leonard. "These classes are designed for ages
10 and up and will include fun projects like hand made tiles, texture

The Annual Homecoming and Memorial Day Services for

Community Thrift Stores invite you to discover great bargains and a

Most of our clothing prices range from 50 cents
to $2.00 with featured items half price daily. We also have great

Our non-profit program benefits the Leonard food
bank as well as many other community projects.

The annual Nickie Williams Memorial Blood Drive
will be held on Wednesday, June 1st from 3:30p.m. –8:00 p.m. at
the First Presbyterian Church at 818 N. Center Street in Bonham. Those
that are able to give blood will receive a free T-shirt. Please come and
give blood if you can.
Sam Rayburn Elementary is exploring the
possibility of beginning a half-day Pre-Kindergarten program for children
who are four years of age. Children must qualify for free and reduced
lunch guidelines and be four years old by September 1, 2005. Interested
